Fee: $500 for 2 anglers (1/2 day)

Occupancy: 3 anglers maximum per guide (2 anglers can fly fish at one time)

Includes: 5hrs of guided fishing

Equipment: All equipment will be provided. Feel free, however, to bring your favorite rods, reels, flies, lures, etcetera.

What You Need To Bring:

​

  • State of Georgia Fishing License – You can purchase a fishing license by going online at: http://www.georgiawildlife.com/licenses-permits-passes

  • Polarized Sunglasses

  • Sunscreen

  • Food

  • Your favorite drinks. We provide water and a cooler with ice.

  • Raingear (if inclement weather)

  • During cooler days remember to bring enough clothes to stay warm on the water.

  • Camera

 

Important: Please wear shoes with white or light soles. We will ask you to remove black-soled shoes prior to boarding.

Kevin’s Boat: Kevin fishes out of a BX 22 PRO SEA HUNT Bay Boat powered by a Yamaha 150 hp Four-Stroke outboard.

 

Sea Hunt BX series are different from your every day bay boats. They have shallow drafts, dual casting platforms, dual aerated livewells, and lockable rod storage but these bay boats go to the extreme. More freeboard, a sharper bow entry and the Carolina Flair create a softer, dryer ride.

Sea Hunt incorporates a progressive V in the bottom of the boats. At the transom, the angle is between 15 and 21 degrees, depending on the model and progresses to 50 to 60 degrees at the entry. The benefit is that a 15 to 21 degree deadrise will be more stable when at rest and when you throttle up, Sea Hunt’s will come on plane quicker, without excess bow rise. This also aids in the boats tracking flat through turns. Looking at the Sea Hunt bow, you can see the sharp V, 50 to 60 degrees; this creates a soft smooth ride while underway.

Viewing the Sea Hunt’s custom designed hulls, the Carolina Flair is apparent. Not only is this a very classic look but it keeps the boats dry. These hulls are specifically designed with the passengers comfort in mind.
